This week saw Audi take the covers off a new version of its S8 full-size performance sedan. The new version is called the S8 Plus, with the “Plus” in the name signifying the car is packing 605 horsepower under the hood. That’s more than Mercedes-AMG’s S63, and it means the big Audi will sprint to 62 mph from rest in just 3.8 seconds.
We flogged the new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V on the track and drove it on the streets. Flat out, Cadillac has managed to not only match the Germans; it's actually beat them at their own game. The CTS-V is the new king of the four-door supercars. However, both the BMW M5 and Mercedes-AMG E63 are due to be replaced in the next 12-24 months, so it will be interesting to see what the Germans come up with to counter the Caddy.
A prototype for the Ford Motor Company’s [NYSE:F] new GT supercar was spotted this week. This time we have video footage, which shows the car rolling down the road and gives us a taste of its low, hunkered-down stance.
BMW is bringing out some of its big guns for this month's Monterey Car Week. One of the highlight events, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, is right around the corner, and one of the cars on show will be this stunning M1 IMSA Group 4 endurance racer.
Ford is throwing gasoline onto the firefight between the Mustang and Camaro by claiming the upcoming 2016 Mustang Shelby GT350R is faster around a track than a Camaro Z/28 and just as fast as a Porsche 911 GT3. We recently got a taste of the performance by taking a ride shotgun at a track event.
What you see here is a carbon fiber-bodied replica of one of the rarest cars on the planet—the Bugatti Royale. Just six examples were built originally, and this replica version is certainly a solid effort. Someone just paid $150k for the car at a recent auction.
This 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille driven by Don Draper (played by John Hamm) in the hit series Mad Men has just sold at auction for $49,980 (including a 24 percent seller's fee). It was just one of the many items from the show up for grabs at a recent auction.
The latest prototypes for Porsche’s facelifted Boxster are wearing barely any camouflage gear. We have a new set of photos plus a video. The noise the prototypes make certainly suggests a turbocharged flat-four engine is part of the update.
Mercedes-Benz’s handsome GLC is now in showrooms. You can pick up the small crossover SUV from a very reasonable $39,875, with shipping, which is pretty much in line with pricing for the C-Class, and it’s also pretty much what you had to pay for the car’s predecessor, the GLK.
